David Davoli is the principal of Davoli Law Firm, a New York City based media, entertainment and small business law firm. David’s practice focuses on the representation of entrepreneurs and start-up companies as well as the structuring, negotiating and documenting of business transactions in the television, film, Internet, publishing and new media industries.

David began his career in the entertainment industry in 1994 while working as actor Alec Baldwin’s personal assistant. After having worked with Alec on the productions of several large-scale film and television projects, David discovered that his talents were also suited to the business side of entertainment, and thereafter entered law school.

In 2001, after graduating from Brooklyn Law School, David spent two years producing off-Broadway plays and short films. In 2003, he entered the practice of law and began working on Madison Avenue for a floor of multi-disciplined solo-practitioners. Over the next five years he gained invaluable experience with representing small business, civil and commercial litigation, real estate, trusts and estates, sports and entertainment.

In 2008, David struck out on his own and opened Davoli Law Firm in order to focus his energies exclusively on media, entertainment and business. The firm provides premium quality services in a niche area of law at competitive rates and the firm stands out from its larger competitors in its ability to provide clients with a personal touch.

In addition to the practice of law, David is training to draw and paint the human figure at Chelsea Classical Studio in the atelier of classically trained painter and portraitist, Brandon Soloff.
